Who I am

Meet Teacher Mara

With over 35 years of teaching experience and 24 years living in the United States, I bring the language to life the way it is truly spoken. During my time in the U.S. I taught in American schools, working with students of many backgrounds and levels.

Recently back in Brazil, I now dedicate myself to helping adults speak English with confidence — and to helping foreigners feel at home in Portuguese. My classes are patient, encouraging and always focused on real progress.
